Navin and Ulupi Patel came to the United States over 35 years ago in search of a new life and new opportunity.  For over 20 of those years, they have lived in Sacramento, and for most of that time have been the owner-operators of Sunshine Natural Foods.  Both of them have formal education in the sciences, are certified Herbalists, and tirelessly supplement this background with continuing education in nutrition and alternative medicine. To ensure the quality of our products, they have even visited the manufacturing facilities of many of our suppliers.

Navin and Ulupi’s love of health and alternative medicine has been passed on us, their two daughters.  We are both doctoral-level professionals working in the medical and health sciences fields, and use much of what our parents have taught us to help our patients and optimize our own families’ health.
